In December 2008, traser^® H3 watches sponsored a Special Forces Sniper Competition, which is traditionally held in winter and which is a great challenge for professionals due to weather conditions and difficulty of the task. Only the best sniper pairs, the elite of Russian Special Task Forces, and Belorussian guests were invited to participate.

The tournament took place outside Moscow and was dedicated to the memory of the Chevalier of the Order “For Personal Courage“ Captain Vladimir Berlin.

The organizer of this competition is the Special Operations Command of Presidential Security Service (SPB) of Federal Protective Service of Russia (FSO), where Vladimir Berlin served as a leading specialist in sniper training.
The main goal of such tournaments is an effective communication of experience, innovations, knowledge and methods of training and mastering professional skills.

The first and third prizes went to the teams of the Special Operations Command of Presidential Security Service of FSO. Alpha team of FSB (former KGB) became second. Along with various gifts, the winners were presented with traser^® H3 watches and Glotac Map Readers. Remarkably, there were no losers in this competition. The very fact of being invited to take part in a tournament of such a high level is a great honour and a special prize itself, because it acknowledges a sniper’s exceptional skills.

It is pleasant to note, that some of the participant have already got  traser^® H3 watches and are happy with them. Their traser^® H3 watches made a good showing during combat and training operations in the past and became an inseparable part of their military equipment.
